Yesterday, I mentioned that I had started converting my guest bedroom into a home office, and today, the « pièce de résistance » arrived: my Jarvis standing desk from @fully_us!
I saw a lot of different options when I was shopping for desks, and I asked around to try and figure out which one would be the best for me. The Jarvis was pricier than most of the other options, but from the reviews and feedback I had seen, it seemed to be worth shelling out the extra money. So, with my usual « Buy it nice or buy it twice » mindset, I went ahead and ordered the desk last Wednesday evening.
Less than a week later (it’s Tuesday as I am writing this), I received the desk. In these times of crisis, such quick shipping and delivery service is quite extraordinary!
So, I set it up today and got started working on it during the afternoon, and so far it’s been a delight! The Contour model is really a must, as it’s much easier on your arms and wrists. It’s also rather pleasing, visually speaking.
I still have some work to do on the cable management, but I’m very excited to have a « real » setup to work from home now. I’m glad I put in the time and effort it took to get set up like this.
